GF FERRE'

EYEWEAR COLLECTION MIDO 2010

Inspiration for the colours and shapes of the new GF Ferré eyewear is 1980’s pop culture. It’s a cool original mood reflecting the latest trends in vision and sunglass frames, connecting totally with a desire for accessories at both practical and fashion-oriented level.

In addition to classic black and light brown, gorgeous red, orange, cyclamen pink, white and dark blue defining  the plastic models, while metal frames come in palladium, bronze, black and gunmetal hues, in purple, white and red as well.

Acetate frames play with  graphic design concepts  thanks to high-impact two tones and horizontal enamel stripes on front or sides . This special  effect is  the main accent of the season.

Shapes alternate between round geometries and boxier styles. The former offer a modern take on the “panthos” look with a singular cross between retro and vintage influences, in bright as well as classic colours . The latter range from rectangular wire rims with acetate arms, all the way to a bimaterial oval designs in metal and nylon.

GF Ferré sunglasses heighten the pure pop appeal and bas-relief edging through boxy slants in casual sport mode  or through curvy wrap forms with distinctive outlining . The design of the wire rims is clearly male, complete with double bridge and acetate bars . Very big and very glam are the new styles for women: with a two-colour contrast stylishly framing the eyes , or butterfly silhouettes featuring a sharp front⁄arm material mix.
